Through advocacy, teaching, and collaboration, we empower dancers of all backgrounds to learn, create, and thrive.​​
Our workshops and special events are thoughtfully crafted to challenge, inspire, and elevate samba dancers at all stages of their journey. Each session emphasizes technique, style, musicality, and performance, while nurturing artistry within a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. Through this elevated training experience, we prepare samba dancers and dance enthusiasts for opportunities to develop and thrive within professional dance environments.
SAMBA + LOVE
Samba is an Afro-Brazilian music and dance tradition, created by descendants of enslaved Africans in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro. Rooted in the rhythms of the African diaspora, it is both a symbol of Brazil and a powerful expression of Black identity, resilience, resistance, and cultural creativity

Samba With Love Cultural Respect Statement

At Samba With Love, we believe that participating in cultural dance is both a privilege and a responsibility. The primary dance we teach is Samba No Pé, a traditional Afro-Brazilian art form with deep roots in the history, culture, and resilience of Afro-Brazilian communities.

We encourage all participants to approach Samba with respect, cultural awareness, and a willingness to learn. This includes honoring the history of the dance; respecting the people, descendants, diaspora, and communities who created, continue to teach, practice, and preserve this art form; and recognizing Samba as a living cultural tradition, not simply a dance style.
