In this class, you will learn traditional samba steps along with other stylistic movements, ideal for beginners looking to build a strong foundation in samba.

SEQUÊNCIA DE SAMBA

Step up your Samba rhythm, style and technique in this high-energy pop-up class! Learn vibrant Samba moves and flowing sequences, which can be applied in our special Samba on A Sunday Dance Performance classes.
Class Levels


BEGINNER

  • Completely new to dancing, or have basic experience but need to build fundamentals


BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE

  • Know foundational steps and terminology, and can follow simple choreography with some confidence


INTERMEDIATE

  • Have solid foundational skills, can pick up choreography more easily, and are comfortable dancing on beat and with control


INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED

  • Have strong technique and solid experience, can learn choreography quickly, are comfortable with fast, complex, and stylized movement, and are working towards professional-level execution or performance quality​

  • All levels are welcome

  • Suitable for beginner dancers seeking a challenge
